Calling all Moms for a Mother's Day Saturday friendly ball game. No skills required. Bring your child along to run bases for you. In addition to selling snacks and drinks from our snack shack we will have a food truck selling burgers. Participants need not be actual moms. They can be mom-like mentors or family members such as aunts, older sisters, grandmas, etc.
Volunteer non-moms are needed to work the snack shack during the ball game. This is a fundraising event for our league so please come to the park if your team has an away game and patronize the snack shack and food truck.
Action item for Mom participants:
Batters usually head to the plate with their "walk up song" playing. We will be compiling a playlist of Mom Walk Up Songs for this event. Although you will probably not walk up to YOUR specific song, a song will be played for each mom batter coming to the plate.
Please email president@sunnyvalenational.org with 1-2 of your song choices and enjoy a moment of feeling like a MLB player.
